Project Coordinator – Position Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a skilled and organized Project Coordinator to support the planning and execution of complex, large-scale IT initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of project management processes, effective coordination skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, in alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities:
–Assist in coordinating one or more large, complex IT projects, typically lasting longer than 6 months, involving 20 or more team members, and requiring regular communication and coordination with stakeholders at various levels.
–Support adherence to State of Michigan project management methodologies, including SUITE, investment management, and systems engineering methodology.
