Meet the Team
Manufacturing Simplification & Sourcing Team is a team responsible for setting up the supply chain framework for Silicon Labs and continually improving the scalability and streamlining the business processes to achieve greater efficiency. The team is also responsible for sourcing alternate suppliers with better quality and cost.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain sourcing constraints to ensure accurate demand allocation and supply planning.
- Perform spend analysis across suppliers, identifying cost drivers, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
- Identify and lead value added engineering (VAE) projects such as source for alternate suppliers/manufacturing sites, qualify lower alternate BOM, etc.
- Maintain standard operating procedures applicable to the department to ensure workflow processes are consistent.
