What you're doing
- Support and supervise the kitchen team for smooth daily operations
- Ensure high standards in food quality, presentation, and portioning
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
- Train and guide junior chefs to improve skills and efficiency
- Address and resolve kitchen disputes, escalating to management when necessary
- Ensure all operational activities adhere to relevant legislations, health and safety regulations and licensing conditions
- Ensure cleanliness and proper grooming across the kitchen
- Step in to oversee kitchen operations during the Head Chef’s absence
- Carry out any other culinary duties as per assigned by superior
- Proven experience in a supervisory kitchen role
