Special Education - Autism Teacher (Puerto Vallarta)

Develop and implement an all-encompassing educational program and implement MTSS plans with innovative methods of teaching and mentoring for students that require Tier II and Tier III interventions. Strive to implement the district's philosophy of education, instructional goals and objectives through the performance of job responsibilities. Utilize teacher diagnostic techniques to determine learning strengths and weaknesses of students enrolled in various special education self-contained or resource instructional programs. Prepare for classroom assignment and provide written evidence of preparation upon request of the immediate supervisor. Evaluate student performance relative to the accomplishment of educational and behavioral objectives at least twice per year (January and May).
