Job Description

Teacher (Special Education). Salary follows the State level tiered system. Starting July 27, 2026. Full‑time position (1.0). The teacher will devote .25 of their time to students with disabilities in grades 6‑9 and .75 to the 2nd‑9th grade Gifted population. No Gifted endorsement is required because TMA is a Charter school in NM. The role alternates between Elementary and Middle/High school campuses.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
2. Valid Teaching License through NMPED.
3. Endorsement by the Public Education Department in the subject and grade level to be taught (grades 6+).
4. Strong knowledge of the subject(s) to be taught.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
