ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Incumbant must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation:
Collaborates in the scheduling of IEPs. Facilitates IEPs for annuals, performance re-evaluations, manifestation determination, and discipline (related and transition). Assures that IEPs are in compliance with IDEA as well as federal and state laws/regulations, and APS policies. Establishes and maintains open lines of communication with students and parents concerning students’ academic, social, and behavioral progress. Assists school personnel in complying with required timelines for reevaluations and annual IEP reviews. Follows up on any referrals for related service evaluations. Assists with all parts of the IEP development that include the following: writing IEP and/or typing IEP on an electronic IEP form. Training school staff on IEP requirements. PREFERRED KN...
