The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the movement of parts and materials as well as maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations. This role is crucial in optimizing the supply chain to meet production schedules and customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving operations.
Coordinate with carriers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Ensure optimal stock levels to support production schedules.
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
