Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive and diligent neurosurgical care to all assigned patients, including pre‑ and post‑operative care and neurosurgical procedures within the incumbent's competence.
- Performs professional duties at the outpatient department (OPD) providing neurosurgical care.
- Assumes after‑hours responsibility for neurosurgical cases and conducts daily rounds for hospitalized patients.
- Refers to or consults with other neurosurgeons for cases requiring specialized diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
- Adheres to the Medical Department bylaws, rules, and regulations, ensuring work aligns with Joint Commission standards.
- Consults with the anesthesiologist on anesthesia choice.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of all cases and ensures accurate medical records throughout.
- Participates in and contributes to in‑service activities such as lectures, conferences, and rounds.
