Job Description

Cpl UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for a General Adult Specialty doctor, NHS based in Park Royal, West London. The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Specialty Doctor, working in their 18-bedded mixed gender ward. This full time positions would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of acute psychiatry and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment (including assessment of risk), treatment and management of adults with mental health problems (functional and organic)

  • Treatment, using a sound knowledge of the evidence for pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, in accordance with NICE and relevant guidance

  • Formulating psychiatric opinions about a bio-psycho-social care plan
