Specialty Doctor in Stroke Medicine

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) is seeking to appoint a Specialty Doctor in Stroke Medicine for 12 months fixed term to complement the skills and interests of the current team.
The remit of the post holder will be to work within the multidisciplinary stroke team providing care for patients throughout the stroke pathway, including acute assessment, rehabilitation and outpatient follow‑up. The role is equivalent to registrar level and includes participation in inpatient management, stroke and TIA referrals, outpatient clinics and rehabilitation planning.
Main duties of the job
Maintain the highest clinical standards in the management of stroke and TIA patients.
Assist with teaching and training of junior staff and medical students.
