Specialty Doctor – Soss Moss Site

Overview
Specialty Doctor to work on the Soss Moss Site, Chelford Road, Nether Alderley, Cheshire – an inpatient-only position focusing on two low secure mental health units: Saddlebridge Recovery Centre (15 male beds) and the Alderley Unit (11 male beds). The role provides medical input within multidisciplinary teams and includes consultant supervision at least every two weeks.
Full access to study leave is available in accordance with the CWP policy.
Main responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessment and care for patients detained under the Mental Health Act and the Mental Capacity Act.
- Participate in admission reviews and decision making with the PROSPECT LPC low secure admissions panel.
