Job Description
BrightStar Respite is seeking a registered Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide maternity leave coverage for a part‑time community caseload of approximately 7–8 children between the ages of 3 and 8. The children you support present with a range of needs, including significant speech and language delays, developmental delays, ASD, ADHD, and FASD.
You will deliver assessments and individualized speech‑language therapy in each child’s home, their daycare, or at the BSR main office in St. Albert. A central part of this role is partnering with parents and guardians — teaching, modelling, and coaching them so they can confidently carry over communication goals into everyday routines. You will also work as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, supporting and helping to build the skills of our frontline staff.
