Speech Therapist

The Speech Therapist plays an important role within a multi-disciplinary team by providing communication and swallowing services to adults with mental health needs and/or developmental disorders.

The Speech Therapist will be expected to:

• Provide communication and/or swallowing assessment and intervention to inpatient and outpatient settings
• Comply with clinical and services standards
• Conduct training and consultation for swallowing and communication within IMH and to community partners
• Contribute to service development across various clinical settings including scoping of clinical need and provision within inpatient and outpatient settings

The Requirements

• Recognised degree in Speech Therapy
• Full registration status with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore by date of appointment
