The NSIC, Stoke Mandeville is dedicated to the treatment of individuals with spinal cord injury. Physiotherapists are part of the enthusiastic and well-motivated inter-disciplinary team involved in all aspects of lifelong management.
An opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist to join the multidisciplinary team working in the nine bedded Young Persons Unit at the National Spinal Injuries Centre (NSIC), Stoke Mandeville Hospital for the treatment of children up to the age of 19 years.
The successful post-holder will carry a caseload of young people and children with spinal cord injuries undergoing rehabilitation and review and will be involved in liaison, communication and working with all members of the inter-disciplinary team, community personnel, statutory organisations as well as parents and education.
