Position Description

Spruceland Community School of the Arts requires a 0.2 FTE Grade K-7 Counselor Limited Duration Contract Teacher. Applicants with assessment and trauma-informed practice experience are preferred. Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant must have or be eligible for membership in the Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch, and must possess:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or proof of application).
• Copy of letter from the TRB stating requirements to attain permanent certification status if certificate is conditional.
• Knowledge of Ministry of Education’s redesigned curriculum and core competencies.
• Evidence of appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching.
