SQE engineer

Job Summary

The “Supplier Quality Engineer” will be based in PTP reporting to the Quality Manager. Responsible for supplier development in a manufacturing or service process; works with suppliers to continuously improve performance, implement process controls and develop quality assurance plans.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Selection – select suitable suppliers with joint effort of sourcing on aspects of quality, capability, pricing, delivery, environment, society regulation, etc. against customer requirements.
• Supplier Qualification – implement new supplier qualification through capability matching, risk assessment, self‑assessment, onsite audit, database management.
• Value‑Added Engineering Activity – understand customer drawing/spec to provide value‑added engineering proposals for optimization.
