Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support key accounting operations for a client in El Segundo, California. This Long-term Contract position will focus on ensuring a smooth and accurate monthly close process, maintaining financial integrity, and resolving reconciliation issues across core accounts. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in NetSuite and a proven background in general ledger accounting within fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
• Lead critical activities tied to the monthly financial close, helping ensure deadlines are met and reporting is accurate.
• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining proper supporting documentation and accounting controls.
• Review general ledger activity to identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and keep records aligned with financial data.
