Description
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support core accounting operations for our distribution business in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, guiding period-end activities, and ensuring account balances are fully supported. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and a disciplined approach to reconciliation and reporting.


Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly close activities by preparing schedules, reviewing account activity, and helping ensure financial results are completed accurately and on time.

• Maintain the general ledger by recording and validating financial transactions in alignment with company policies and accounting standards.

• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation, analysis, and attention to detail.
