RESPONSIBILITIESSource and purchase complex goods and services for the organization.Lead procurement projects and negotiations with strategic vendors.Develop and maintain relationships with strategic vendors and suppliers.Implement procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery.Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for changes when necessary.Analyze market trends and stay up to date on industry news and developments.Mentor and coach junior buyers to ensure their professional development.Work with other departments to identify their purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies.Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to purchasing.Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
