Sr. Database Administrator/Manager

Job Overview

Experienced and Seasoned Database Administrator who can own the production/non-production DB operations support. Must go beyond general DB administration, who knows how the MS SQL SERVER engine works with Strong Infrastructure knowledge (e.g. Servers, storage) and can tune queries for the developers/ETL/BI. Very strong on SQL Tuning skills. Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Ensure reliability, responsiveness, and recoverability of database systems through regular system maintenance and backups.
