Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

The Senior Plastic Manufacturing Engineer will be tasked with: Assessing the current manufacturing capabilities; Developing a manufacturing and capacity strategy for plastic components for current and future product programs; Determining the most effective methods to manufacture plastic components, and implementing equipment capacity and capability upgrades. Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods to ensure production requirements can be met on time in a cost- effective and safe manner. Defining facility requirements for plastics molding processes. Commissions molding processes and equipment through the use of factory and site acceptance testing Creates assembly instructions for new products to be manufactured. Studies and records time, motion, methods and speed involved in performance of production and other worker operations to establish standard production rates and to improve efficiencies.
