Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead piping material engineering activities, including material specifications, valve/material selection, and procurement support.
- Piping material engineering roles typically cover PMS, MTO, MR, and technical bid evaluation.
- Develop and maintain piping material specifications.
- Review material requisitions, valve specs, and material selection data.
- Support pipe wall thickness calculations and code compliance.
- Participate in technical bid evaluations and procurement coordination.
- Coordinate with process, corrosion, and mechanical teams.
- Ensure suitability of materials for offshore service conditions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Offshore oil and gas material engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and material standards.
