Sr. Surface Chemist We are offering a Sr. Surface Chemist position at our Mesa, AZ facility. Key Responsibilities Apply in-depth knowledge of surface chemistry, organic/inorganic chemistry, electrochemistry, and interfacial phenomena to guide slurry development strategies. Investigate interactions between slurry chemistries and dielectric/metal films, as well as surface interactions with functional components, understand CMP mechanisms, enhance slurry performance (e.g., removal rate, topography, defectivity), and minimize corrosion, metal contamination, and particle/byproduct re‐adsorption. Utilize advanced surface analytical techniques to characterize the chemical state, morphology, and interfacial properties of slurry components, CMP consumables, and processed wafer surfaces. Develop and interpret surface interaction models (adsorption, tribology, corrosion, electrochemistry) to guide formulation design and performance optimization.
