Our client in the education industry is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activity
+ Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and subledgers
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
+ Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-related accounting activities
+ Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
+ Analyze account activity and help resolve discrepancies
+ Assist with budget tracking, audit preparation, and compliance reporting
