Staff Pharmacist - Courtenay and Comox

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely. It involves ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patients’ needs, counsel patients with appropriate documentation, and provide friendly, positive and proactive interaction with all internal and external customers, as well as create awareness and educate customers through public relations.

What you’ll do

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
• Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs.
• Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive and proactive interaction.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.).
