:Description/Qualifications:
Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking students actively enrolled in an accredited HVAC/Refrigeration institution at the collegiate level. This internship is designed to provide the candidate with additional knowledge of supermarket refrigeration maintenance operations including, refrigerant use/management, tool use required of the trade, basic knowledge of rack systems, case troubleshooting/repair and additional functional areas as opportunities to introduce these areas arise. The intern will be supervised by their assigned Store Service Supervisor and will be expected to gain exposure and contribute to the following areas:
Refrigeration rack preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair.
Compressor insights – The reasons why compressors of all types fail and how to prevent such.
Condenser maintenance & cleaning.
