As the Town of Banff’s Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects Planner you are joining our dynamic team of professionals who are committed to “Take Care of Banff” by ensuring the Town of Banff reflects the beauty, heritage, and natural grandeur of Canada’s premier national park.

You have a passion for crafting land use policy that helps achieve Council’s goals and fulfill the Town’s legislative responsibilities, while helping to guide outcomes that are fitting for a municipality in a National Park.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of municipal land use policy through the Banff Community Plan (Municipal Development Plan); Land Use Bylaw amendments; Area Redevelopment Plans and Area Structure Plans; and other duties as assigned.
