Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic registered nurse with the passion to develop and deliver high-quality stroke care for the Wirral population.
The ideal candidate should be able to work autonomously and has freedom to act in prioritising and co‑coordinating patients assessments, referrals and reviews.
Stroke Department at WUTH provides the following stroke services:
- Hyper‑acute and acute stroke services with agreed pathway and protocols
- 24/7 stroke thrombolysis & for further assessment for thrombectomy in Walton
- Dedicated Nurse Triage TIA clinics
- Daily outpatient clinics
- Stroke rehabilitation unit at Clatterbridge Hospital and Early Supported Discharge
- Stroke research service
