Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis and design of steel structures and connections per codes (AISC/NSCP). Prepares calculations, checks drawings, and supports value engineering. Coordinates with detailing/BIM and site teams for constructability.


• Prepares structural design and calculations for steel structures including beams and columns.


• Reviews and approves shop drawings for fabrication and erection.


• Ensures compliance with building codes and project specifications.


• Coordinates with site team to resolve structural design issues.

Qualifications

• With 5-10 years experience in Structural Design


• Well versed in STAAD, ETABS and in performance-based.


• Open minded in new structural designing construction concepts.


• Active member of ASEP.


• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
