About the role
We are seeking a talented Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team at McNaughton Consulting Engineers in our Grey Lynn, Auckland office. This is a full-time role that will see you working on a wide variety of exciting architecturally focused projects in the residential and commercial sector, in Auckland and around the country.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting structural analyses and designing structural systems for new builds and refurbishments
- Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions
- Preparing detailed calculations, structural drawings, specifications, and reports
- Providing technical support and advice throughout the construction process
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes and regulations
