Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: The Research/Lab Assistant will provide assistance to LECOM faculty members. This assistance is typically provided in the development of a specific program focusing on various research and other related matters.
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and preserve the mission of LECOM;
Act in a friendly, professional manner when dealing with faculty, students and visitors at all times;
Daily responsibilities may involve animal care ( animal handling, feeding, changing & cleaning cages), sectioning and processing brain tissue, data collection, analysis and presentation; 
Hours worked not to exceed 20/week;
Maintain confidentiality, professional appearance, and pleasant demeanor;
Meet with faculty members, on an as needed basis, to work on various assignments;
Report to the Coordinator of the individual program;
Weekly hours worked will be submitted to Pre-Clinical Education;...
