Job Description
The Student Research Assistant, under general supervision, will engage in a guided approach to hypothesis driven research activities related to either of the following areas of research: Animal Sciences, Plant and Soil Sciences, Food Systems and Social and Allied Science studies; willing to perform research focused on improvements in agricultural practices; Willingness to perform literature searches, work independently in a laboratory setting, collect data, contribute to dissemination of information at local, state and national conferences as well as for peer reviewed manuscripts.
Responsibilities:
Perform field work.
Conduct lab experiments.
Preparation of reports.
Preparation for conferences.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University.
