Student Services Generalist (Career)

General Description

The Student Services Generalist is the primary contact with students who are in need of Career advising and guidance. The Generalist will be responsible for assisting students through career advising, exploration, and appropriate major sections in alignment with their career choice. The Generalist will perform academic advising as needed and will engage in institutional retention initiatives, oversee the Owl Leadership Academy, and support the Community College 3.0 initiatives established by the College Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities • Provides direction, process overview and information to students, parents, non-traditional, and adult learners regarding: the College admission process, registration, financial aid, student account functions, College programs, activities and student services. Provides referrals for the Americans with Disabilities Act and other special needs.
