Job Description
Hourly Rate: $15.67 per hour
Pay for Retirees:
Retirees returning to substitute in their former non-certified position will be paid their hourly rate at the time of retirement.
Retirees substituting in a position from which they did not retire will be paid according to the standard substitute rate schedule.
Job Summary:
The Substitute Custodian is responsible for supporting building cleanliness and safety by performing a variety of custodial duties on an as-needed basis. The goal of this position is to ensure that school facilities remain clean, safe, and orderly so that students and staff can focus on teaching and learning without disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other areas as needed.
