Job Description

Position Description: 

The Substitute Teacher provides classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Substitute teachers help maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment while following lesson plans and school procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:
Follow lesson plans, instructional materials, and schedules provided by the regular classroom teacher.
Provide meaningful instruction and classroom support to students.
Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment.
Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, assemblies, recess, and other assigned areas.
Report student injuries, illness, or serious discipline concerns to school administration.
Remain actively engaged with students by monitoring, assisting, and instructing throughout the school day.
