Summer Trainee - Neurosciences

**Job Description**

Summer Trainee will assist in ongoing neurobiology research projects in the lab, conducting routine research and development using common biochemistry and molecular biology methods

**Qualifications**

+ High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or greater depending on department and role.
+ None, though some administrative exposure is a plus

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist with ongoing neurobiology research projects using standard biochemistry and molecular biology techniques.
+ Perform routine laboratory procedures including genotyping, RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, molecular cloning, protein expression and purification, and western blotting.
+ Conduct peptide- and immuno-based pull-down assays and support other experimental workflows as needed.
+ Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and research findings.
+ Analyze data and contribute to the interpretation of experimental outcomes.
