SUMMARY:
A food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a Supervisor to join their team in Cape Town . POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures
• Responsible to meet shift production goals and quality standards
• Responsible for quality control and sample testing
• Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce products within specifications
• Ensure samples are taken to be tested
• Assist in production as necessary
• Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Ensure that workplace safety standards are met and that appropriate safety clothes, shoes, hearing protection are used, etc.
• Complete shift paper work accurately and timeously
