Supervisor, East/US Operations

The LTL Operations Supervisor (OS) is accountable for the daily functions and ongoing growth and development of Bison’s assigned regional LTL division.

This includes the monitoring of freight volumes, P&D performance, outbound efficiencies and overall performance of the LTL team & stakeholders. The OS is responsible for understanding our regional truckload operation and identifying constraints and synergies that would affect LTL’s day to day operation.

Responsibilities

• Continuous development of LTL operational solutions and growth strategy.
• Lead the LTL team on their day-to-day performance, setting clear expectations.
• Partner with Pricing and Sales to generate more freight, generating a monthly sales report to demonstrate success.
• Partner with Eastern Coordinator and CSR to understand the general picture and daily requirements of our freight.
• Development of KPIs and implementing daily/weekly performance metrics.
