Supervisor of Case Management and Social Work Services

+ The Supervisor of Case Management and Social Work (CMSW) assists with the daily operations of the Department. This person can assist with the hiring and managing of all the CMSW department staff. One must possess the ability to assess and reasonably manage variables contributing to the reduction of length of stay (LOS) and cost per case through resource management.

+ The Supervisor of CMSWS is responsible for assisting with all daily operations of the department and provides coverage in Managers Absence. This person in this position will ensure clinical documentation adequately reflects resource management and severity of illness of the patient population(s).



+ The Supervisor of CMSWS assist with providing the link between compliance, clinical management, patient progression, gathering and reporting of utilization data, community outreach and as a resource in the prevention of readmissions.
