Job Description

Summary Serves as a managing attorney within the Office of the Chief Counsel, International Affairs & National Security Law Division (AGC-700). The manager reports directly to the Deputy Assistant Chief Counsel for International Affairs & National Security Law. Responsibilities Serves as the manager for a team of attorneys who are responsible for managing major issues, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements for the provision of technical assistance agreements, research and development agreements, and Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreements (BASA) and associated implementation procedures between the FAA and foreign governments. The work performed within the legal programs of AGC-700 and applicable mission areas has international and agency-wide significance, which is vital to the FAA's ability to meet its aviation safety responsibilities.
