Supervisory Aviation Technical Systems Specialist (District Manager)

Summary This position serves as a District Manager (DM) within the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Technical Operations, Boston District, AJW-EP. Responsibilities Directs a highly technical and diverse workforce in ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of National Airspace System (NAS) equipment and facilities. Incumbent will have day-to-day direction over 3-5 subordinate managers as well as functionally integrated teams of operational and support personnel. Interfaces with management across multiple organizational units and integrates projects/programs across multiple service units. Provides coaching, mentoring, and development of staff and organizational capabilities and is responsible for team building throughout the facilities in the District. Sets priorities, assigns tasks and responsibilities, and monitors and evaluates performance of organizational units within the District.
