Summary This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Facilities and Property Branch. The incumbent serves as the Assistant Chief, Facilities Management Branch, Archives I site Manager. He/she is responsible for planning and directing comprehensive programs for the operation, repair, maintenance and improvement of the Archives I National Archives Building. . Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, you will: Plan, direct, and supervise, comprehensive programs for the operation, repair, maintenance and improvement of the Archives I Building. Conduct a monitoring and inspection program that will ensure all mechanical systems are operating properly, preventive maintenance programs are effectively being conducted, needed repairs are identified, and repairs are performed quickly and properly with the minimum inconvenience and down time to the program areas.
