Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist

Summary This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services. As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-15, you will provide leadership and executive direction for implementing all program areas within CAHPG with a focus on eligibility, enrollment, outreach, tribal affairs and quality of care for Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, and the Basic Health Program. Responsibilities Direct subordinate staff as a first line manager and provides administrative, policy, and programs objectives, assigns tasks and evaluates the work directed. Manage the development of Medicaid, CHIP and BHP program policy within the scope of the Children and Adults Health Programs Group. Lead projects to analyze key policy issues to support legislative, regulatory, policy and/or operational initiatives.
