Job Description
Summary The Supervisory Veterinary Medical Officer provides administrative leadership and technical advice. This includes guidance on complex veterinary medical issues and situations associated with the import/export of livestock, birds, animal products and genetic materials. The Veterinarian in Charge position supports the agency response to New World Screwworm (NWS) . See Additional Information section for positions and location(s) of vacancies. Responsibilities The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
