Surgery - General Physician

Shift:

• 4 day work week, M-Th; if they re working the weekend call then off Thursday and work Fri, Sat, Sun (have flexibility with day off). 10 days of call/month which will include one weekend. If they take additional call (over 10) reimbursement is $1500.

Job Description:

• Searching for an experienced (at least 1 year of General Surgery work experience is required, at least 5 years of General Surgery work experience is preferred).
• Facility does not have a robot on site
• Busy ER: 18,000 visits/year
• Trauma is rare. No multi-trauma will stay to Springfield. General Surgeon can expect mostly bread and butter cases - gall bladders, hernias, appendix, bowels, Upper and lower GI Endoscopy (about 100 per month)The General surgeons complete their own Endoscopy, we do n...
