We are seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner (physician assistant or nurse practitioner) to join four pediatric neurosurgeons and three current physician assistants in our Neurosurgery Division. Responsibilities include assisting with inpatient care, inpatient consultations, first-assisting in the operating room on a wide range of pediatric neurosurgical cases and seeing patients in the outpatient clinic. APP's are encouraged to be involved in research projects. The full team of APP's will rotate first call for the hospital, supporting the on-call neurosurgeon.Successful candidate needs to be team-oriented, self-motivated, patient-centric, and interested in continuous learning.
