Position Overview

Permanent Surgical Registrar positions with Orthopaedics allocation. Commencing as soon as possible or 3 August 2026. Allocation across Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa (Masterton) hospitals.

Rotational Scheme

Wellington Region RMO positions rotate across multiple hospitals: Wellington Regional, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa Hospitals. Rotations will be arranged to accommodate preferred run schedules where possible.

• General Surgery – Colorectal, Endocrine, Breast and Upper‑Gastrointestinal
• Vascular – endovascular work and kidney transplants
• Paediatric Surgery
• Cardiothoracic
• Neurosurgery
• Urology
• Otolaryngology
• Orthopaedics
• Plastics
