The requested schedule is four 10-hour shifts with variable start times, including weekends as needed. On-call shifts are required. The Surgical Technologist II participates as a member of the perioperative team under the supervision of a registered nurse. This position performs direct and indirect perioperative tasks for patients undergoing surgical and endoscopic procedures, assisting anesthesia personnel. The primary focus is the scrub person role. The staff member must participate in the planning and provision of perioperative care for patients across all age groups. This position requires flexibility in scheduling as assigned by the Assistant Director of Surgery, with weekend shifts assigned on a rotating basis.
