Surgical Tech - Neuro - SFMC - DH

- # Suites: 4 OR. - Average # of cases per day: Approximately 200 Neuro surgeries a month. - Required Certifications: RN, BLS. - Common Cases: Neurology Surgery - Spine, Cranis. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Travelers must have 2 year experience with Neuro OR cases including spinal fusions and craniotomies (will do more than spine and crani's so must be well rounded in all neuro cases). If they do not have this experience will need to be redirected, no exceptions. - Is there a Charge Nurse &/or House Supervisor on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes, Charge available Mon-Friday. Charge does not take a team/OR. Lead Supervisor/Charge for Neuro surgery. A Charge nurse present 24 hours a day. House supervisor 24/7. - OR techs?: Yes. - EMR: EPIC Optime. - Shifts & Scheduling: 10 hour shifts, . Call shifts .
