Promotes the safety of patient as a member of the surgical team. Is responsible for assisting with operative procedures and patient care according to department policies and procedures.

**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Assists department leader with the delegation of assignments, scheduling and staff training. Provides feedback during performance review process. Ensures surgery preference cards are completed accurately.
+ Anticipates and plans routine care for the patient based on basic knowledge of surgical cases and anticipates some unexpected patient and surgeon needs.
